Colson Kelly, also known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born on the 22nd of April, 1991 in Houston Texas U.S. into the family of English Scottish and German descent. His parents are missionaries. As a child the Bakers traveled extensively with them. The dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployed while his mom Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Baker relocated to Denver along with his father, and stayed for a while. Baker had to endure bullying from other children because of his lack of wealth. After he was in the sixth grade, Baker was able to learn rap. Colson Baker, also known in the form of Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22, 1990. The songs he composed are known to blend contemporary hip-hop and rock music with alternative music. Before signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes from 2007 to 2010. The Cleveland rapper who delivered lyrics at the pace that of a fast bullet saw an explosive growth when 2011 was the year he switched from self-released mixtapes to established label. His career increased exponentially as every album charted in the top 10.
