Annabelle Gurwitch
Annabelle Gurwitch was an American actress, comedian and television host. Most recognizable for her work as hostess of Dinner and a Movie (TBS) as well as an environmentalist who is known for her secular humanism and environmental concerns. Annabelle Gurwitch a New York Times best-selling writer, actress and critic for her autobiography, Wherever You Go Then They Are I see you made an Effort. Then you say Tomato. I Say Shutup and Get Fired. The show also featured the Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is best known for her time as host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. She has also appeared in shows like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. She has regular appearances in PBS Newhour Real Time, on NPR as well as The Hollywood Reporter. Alongside the writing of op eds, she produces satires, which are published by The New Yorker WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. Acting on stage has secured her inclusion in the annual critics Top Ten Performances of the Year in both The New York and Los Angeles Times. Annabelle shares wisdom and her hilarious story of the aging process in our youth obsessed culture. This piece has been performed at theater festivals around all over the world.
